Food Service Renovations, Inc. (FSR) has grown into a full design/build company, specializing in the food service industry. Combining more than 30 years of food service design and equipment experience with general contracting licenses in 11 states, we offer a true turn-key capability for any food service facility across the spectrum of business lines.
We work with owners and operators to help them define their project while working within their budget.
A project plan is developed that fits the facility while remaining true to the desired food format and their associated national, regional, or other branding standards.
We interact with the brand’s design team to ensure our designs fit the necessary space while adhering to brand standards.
Our turn-key services can include architectural, engineering, and interior design services as well as construction, equipment procurement, millwork, and installation services. Working with us, the operator simply adds food and people and opens.

The Design / Build Process
Initial Site Assessment & Evaluation
Whether a simple remodel or complex new buildout, the initial site assessment is critical to determining how a project will move forward.
Scope, Concept & Budgeting Proposal
Based on initial site visit, concept and budget are proposed and the scope of the project becomes more focused.
Approval
Once the project budget, scope and basic concept are approved, the project can move to the next step in the process.
Concept Development
Refinement of concept to better understand the totality of the project.
FSR Design & Coordination
FSR team finalizes the design of the project and coordinates with all partners.
A/E Site Assessment & Evaluation
Architectural/Engineering assist in the evaluation of the project design, concept and site.
Construction Drawings
Detail construction plans are drawn up to include all facets of the project.
Budget
Detailed financial budget is created outlining all obligations pertaining to the project.
Approval
Once the budget is approved, the project can move to the next step in the process.
Permitting & AHJ Approval
Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) allows the organization to move forward with all permitting for the project.
Order Custom Items
All custom items including equipment, separate infrastructure, finishes and materials ordered and delivery schedule adjusted.
Mobilize Resources
Contractors, subcontractors and other project personnel are mobilized for project start.
Construction & Installation
Project construction and equipment installation commences.
Inspections & Turnover
Final inspections undertaken and project turnover to client starts to take place.
Startup & Training
Specialized training and startup procedures conveyed to client.
Grand Opening
Completed project ready for regular business activities to commence.
